I bought this book for my mother for Christmas. After I looked through it, I wanted a copy for myself. It is an excellent reference for terms, tools and techniques. WARNING!!! If you are a vegetarian, this book is very meat-centric.

This book was written for a novice cook. I did learn a few things, but overall it was beneath my cooking knowledge. I would have liked more in depth concepts.

I love and have a number of Martha Stewart’s books. They are always full of great information, receipes and instructional pictures to make doing anything look like a pro did it.

This book was perfect for my friend who wants to be born again as Martha Stewart. This will give her a good start upon her return. The book encompasses lots of information one wouldn’t find in a typical cookbook.

As a preschool teacher, I like to use books that the children will instantly grab. I know Dragon Tales is a huge hit with this age group so I decided to use it for a Pizza Project that I was doing with the children. I was disappointed with how the book glazed over how to make a pizza. It said something like ” so we use all of this”. This is a shame because I think the children would have loved it. The children I taught even asked what the charecters used in their pizza because it didn’t say and I had them look at the pictures for information. I kept it in the classroom for the pictures, but didn’t use it for information. Its fine for non-educational purposes but thats about it.

My 3 year old loves Dragon Tales and immediately loved this little book. The sing-song rhyme of the text was very appealing and the large print is helpful for beginning readers. This simple story tries to encourage children to seek help from others to overcome obstacles. I recommend this book for any young child who loves Dragon Tales and pizza.

My 3 year old daughter loves Dragon Tales and this book quickly became one of her favorites. The simple sing song rhyme of the text is very appealing. The story is simple but humorous and encourages seaking out the help of others when you aren’t sure what to do. The large, clear print is nice for beginning readers. This is one little book that we will read over and over again.
